Jess moved to Washington state from Maryland in 2016, in search of adventure, (more) hipsters, vitamin D supplements and fountains of quality coffee. While enjoying said hipsters and caffeine, she explores ways to use wry visual storytelling to open conversations about mental health recovery. In that spirit, Talking Dicks: A Field Journal, is Jess' contribution to the #MeToo movement, and it is out April 2018.

She's happiest on the floors of dance studios, scribbling incredible contemporary dance companies.

There is a BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art of hers currently collecting dust in a grandiose frame back east.
